MWA Activities

Activities:

1. Covid_19 Relief Drive , initiated by Karachi team by approval of Chairman MWA and MWA Sindh Coordinator Haji Jahanzeb Burki. Coordinator MWA Karachi Mr. Shams Ullah supervised the campaign. (5th Apr - 25th May, 2020). Around 1800 food packages distributed in different areas of Karachi among the poor and dailywagers who were affected due to lockdown. Financial assistance given to 32 widows in Karachi. 57 packages in D.I.Khan and around 150 packages distributed in District Tank KPK.
2. Membership Drive launched to bring in more power to MWA volunteers team. community members became paid members of MWA
3. MWA Tree Plantation Drive launched in different areas of south waziristan. Professor Dr. Syed Salman Mahsud led the teams of volunteer members , distributed plants , planted new plants and grafted hundreds of wild olive trees
4. Annual Talent Awards ceremony held in PA Compound District Tank by end of Dec, 2019. Honourable Chief Commissioner Malaknd Div. Mr. Riaz Khan Mahsud graced the event as cheif guest. Community elders and students participated in the event. Students who had secured outstanding postions in SSC and HSC and Islamic studies were given Awards and cash prizes
5. MWA Karachi Team conducted "PUBLIC SPEECH COMPETITION" in Sohrab Goth Karachi on 7th Dec, 2019. 26 Students from 15 private schools and Islamic Madrasas participated and delivered speeches in English and Urdu. Best Speaker award and cash prizes given to the best performers and MWA founding member Haji Jahanzeb Burki graced the event as cheif guest and distributed mementos among the Principals of private schools who support MWA in free education program.
6. Mr.Noor Mehsud (President Toasts Masters Club Lahore) professional trainer conducted 2 days training program in Islamabad for MWA members and volunteers in April 2019.
7. Groundbreaking ceremony of Waziristan Education City Project by Core Commander 11 Peshawar Mr.Mazhar Shaheen Mehmood ,held in Molekhan Srai , Tehsil Sarwakai , district South Waziristan on 27th March 2019.
8. Wall Chalking campaign launched in march 2019 , walls and rocks alongside the road painted with MWA slogans to promote the cause of MWA and to encourage public for Education.
9. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between MWA and donar Mr.Ahmad Khan Mahsud in Peshawar 16th March 2019.
10. Talents awards ceremony held in Political Compund Tank , Maj Gen Abid Latif Khan (IG FC KPK) graced the event as chief guest in 2018
11. Talents awards ceremony held in Gomal University D.I.Khan , Mr.Salahuddin Mahsud (IG Police KPK) graced the event as chief guest in 2017
12. Career Guidance Seminar for students and Jobless youth in Kanz College Hall d.i.khan in Sep 2018 .
13. Career Guidance Seminar for students of Gomal University D.I.Khan Aug 2017 .
14. MWA held consultative meetings in Tank in 2014.
15. MWA held series of meetings in Dera Ismail Khan, Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar.
16. Talents awards are held two times in Tank.
17. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between MWA and National Testing Service-Pakistan (NTS) in Islamabad.
18. A big gathering was held in Tank regarding launching of NTS-MWA scholarship programme.
19. One-day strategic planning workshop of MWA core team in Islamabad.
20. One-day opening ceremony programme of Islamabad office and resource generation campaign’s first program.
21. Announcement of successful candidates for MWA-NTS scholarship programmes for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
